town hall. Rectangular, brick building, built between 1760 and 1763 after a design by Anthony Viervant in Arnhem, consisting of a basement, a bel-etage and a first floor and topped by a circumferential hipped roof, with a wooden bell tower at the front. The building has a hard stone plinth with a platform, on which a balustrade. The facade is enlivened by six continuous brick pilasters of the Doric order, which bear an entablature, the frieze of which has triglyphs. Windows with nine- and six-pane sash windows. On the corners of the balustrade shield-holding lions.
