It is a very varied way. Initially on well-paved paths to the first waterfall. Here quite full. The entry of 5 EUR you can save yourself if you want to go further. The following waterfalls are more spectacular and some follow. If you go further up, it gets lonelier but also exhausting and the way gets narrower. He is drawn red / white, later only red. Waypoint 5 is quite easy to walk but steep in between. The pools and pools are overwhelming. You walk in the shade under trees.

The route essentially leads over old railway and tram routes. It starts with the former Samba route - through the zoo to the south elevation to Cronenberg. At the church there is a nice cafe with possibility to sit outside. then it goes downhill on roads to Müngstener bridge. The climb is again on an old railway line. Up in Solingen, the route then follows the "Korkenziehertrasse", leads on the old tram line from D-village to Vohwinkel and there on the Nordbahntrasse. Back to the starting point you have to look then Nebenstraßen Sonnborn.

The tour leads on many sections on former railway lines. From Wuppertal Oberbarmen the route to Hattingen from Schee is no longer paved, but well fortified. Is not so good in wet weather. Everything is tarred along the Ruhr. From Kettwig to Velbert the route also follows a tarred railway track (Panormatrasse) but "infinitely" uphill. In Vohwinkel you have to drive on normal roads to get back on the "Nord Route", which leads "back to the starting point" above the roofs of Wuppertal.

An imposing panorama - rewards your efforts.
All roads are easy to walk, of course, with corresponding gradients. Only the detour to Burg is already difficult - on this piece you have to climb a bit at the end and the path itself is not easy. But looking down at the place is worth it.
