The Hundstodgatterl is a particularly impassable and exciting passage through the Steinernes Meer. It is essential to pay attention to the path markings and be particularly careful when it is wet. There is a risk of falling between the slippery, towering rocky outcrops, which are furrowed by deep crevasses.

After the Ingolstädter Haus / Kärlinger Haus junction, concentration and surefootedness are required. Partly deep crevices that have to be overcome. Only recommended for experienced hikers! I don't know if the path would have been feasible in the rain, I don't think so.
