  • Tempio di Ercole Vincitore is a Roman temple in Piazza Bocca della Verità, the former Forum Boarium. It is a tholos, a circular temple of Greek 'peripteral' design, completely surrounded by a colonnade. The temple is dedicated to Hercules, the protector of the olive oil merchants, and dates from the late 2nd century BC. It is the oldest surviving marble building in Rome and the only one made of Greek marble.
