The Rifugio Sandro Pertini is beautifully situated at approximately 2,300 meters on the south slope of the Sassolungo group in the Dolomites. From the hut, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Dolomites of the Fassa Valley, as well as the Catinaccio, the Letemar, the Monzoni range, and the Sella group. Even the glaciers of the Marmolada can be seen from here.

Hiking

This alpine refuge named (in 1986) in memory of the former President of the Republic Sandro Pertini is located on the south side of the Sassolungo Group, in a panoramic position on the Fassa Dolomites (Catinaccio, Latemar, Creste dei Monzoni, Massiccio del Sella) with a spectacular view of the Marmolada glacier. It can be easily reached via the famous path no. 557 "Friedrich August".
