The Buchbach flows into Lake Constance below the MTU site. The Buchenbach is piped throughout Fischbach/Manzell. In the area of the railway line, it unites with the overflow sewage system of the stormwater overflow basin there. From spring 2022 it is planned to separate the Buchenbach from the sewage system again. For this purpose, a separate profile is to be introduced into the existing sewage system using the so-called railing method.
