Origin of the "Waldbad Wulfelade e. V.

In 1991, the town of Neustadt held a village contest, in which projects from the villages could be submitted.

In the village was formed a "working group Waldbad", which set up a catalog of measures for the gradual modernization of the bath, this also submitted to the city and thus won the 2nd place in village competition. In addition, more than 2,500 signatures were collected for the preservation and modernization of the Waldbad.

Due to the lack of finances, the city of Neustadt took this Wulfelader commitment as an occasion not to consider the bathroom in the budget draft for the year 1993. The former Council majority decided to close the outdoor pool. The Wulfelader citizens but continued to campaign for the rescue of the forest pool.

At a town meeting, convened by the working group of the village competition, the support association "Waldbad Wulfelade e.V." was founded. Spontaneously on the same evening 100 citizens joined the association. Meanwhile, the number of members stabilizes at ....
