The castle is the oldest landmark in Lisbon.

The foundations date back to the 11th century.

It stands on a hill above Amalfa. The view from the castle walls,

towers, and the surrounding park is among the highlights of the castle complex.

Free-roaming peacocks, a small museum, and the surrounding cafes are

among the other attractions within the castle.

A ticket is required for entry to the castle.
