Starting from Lago di Cingino, you go through a small steel door into a tunnel, where a large water pipe runs from the reservoir to the power plant.
The tunnel is about 2.5 km long and takes about 30 minutes. It is illuminated, but headlamps are helpful.
In the tunnel, water is sometimes ankle-high, mostly you walk dry on gratings, but sometimes not. If you don't have good shoes, you may get wet feet or have to try to walk close to the wall.On the east side there is a total of 150 hm ascent to Lago di Camposecco, then the descent to Lago di Campliccioli is consistently alpine, sometimes quite steep. It gets easier further to the starting point at Lago di Antrona.Video on the Capricorns:
