This castle is now a ruin. However, he is not too old. It was built by Krzysztof Ossoliński, a Polish nobleman from the town of Sandomierz.

The castle was partially destroyed during a historic event in 1655 called the Flood. It was permanently reduced to a state of ruin by Russia during the War of the Confederation of Bar in 1770.

Four towers for the seasons, 12 ballrooms, 52 rooms, and 365 windows.
Built between 1627 and 1644 as the Palazzo Fortezza, it was destroyed by the Swedes in 1655 and by Russian troops in 1777. A relative of the Bishop of Kraków then acquired the castle, but did nothing to stop its decay. Since then, it has been a ruin, but since the building can be seen in its entirety, it is more impressive than a "normal" castle.
