From the original monastery only the church from the end of the 14th century has been preserved. It is a simple single-aisled brick building with six ribbed vaulted yokes. East and west gables are decorated with arcades, before a small tower is added. In the nave is the after 1586 created in the workshop of Güstrow master locksmith Philipp Brandin sandstone epitaph for the last abbess of the Poor Clares Ursula Duchess of Mecklenburg. The neo-Gothic interior of the church dates from the years after 1840. The organ was built in 1839/40 by the Rostock organ builder Heinrich Rasche.
