Eslohe is located in central Sauerland on the border between the Hochsauerland district and the Olpe district, about 13.5 km as the crow flies southwest of Meschede. The territory of the municipality lies almost entirely in the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park. The hilly low mountain range landscape is criss-crossed by numerous rivers that, with a few exceptions, flow to the Wenne. It is the municipality's largest river and flows through the municipality from south to north.
