Cycling

The oldest parts of this Gothic parish church date back to the 14th century. On the west side, the obviously modern church tower, which was built in 2003, immediately catches the eye. The original church tower collapsed in 1993 without anyone being injured. The causes were long-term consequences of the Second World War, weathering of the stone, a small earthquake and intensive ringing of bells shortly before the collapse.
The two-nave church interior with its different characters and glass windows is also worth a look.

Cycling

The oldest parts are the central and north aisles. They received their church consecration in 1323, according to a record in the Goch church archive. It is assumed that a church had already stood in the same place, as Goch had already become an independent parish around 1200. The main nave of the church is the tall nave. Plans for this extension go back to the 15th century.
