Wasserrad in Gräfelfing

Come there every day.
It turns almost tirelessly.
There's good food around the corner.
Bathing possible.
Nice large lawn for sunbathing.

A very nice place. Even a cool down is possible there: A lawn offers in good weather for a longer break. 👍😁😉

Meditative place - right to come down after a stressful day when you watch the quiet babble. And a few further there is a swimming area with a large lawn. You can let yourself drift through the worm for several hundred meters.

The Würm has its old water wheel back. This was for renewal by master joiner Björn Schillinger in Germering. Not only were all wooden parts such as shovels, buckets, wheels and spokes replaced or restored, but also the entire metal shaft, the bearing and the hub. The waterwheel has been in place on Mesnersteg since 1998.

The scoop in Gräfelfing is located at the beginning of the small city park. There is also a beer garden nearby. A good stopover on a long drought tour.

Here you can cool off well.

The position for the Gräfelfinger waterwheel is wrong here !!!! It is located about 1 km downriver and has been renovated or rebuilt.

Nice to look at is this aged waterwheel.

The water wheel in the Würm near Lochham fascinates me again and again. I find the many photos of it fascinating.
Just like the Würm, especially on the upper reaches between Lake Starnberg and Munich, is highly recommended for walks and bike tours.
There you will also find many hidden places if you try to stay very close to the river. (Unfortunately without my own photos.)
