Green Belt

On an area of almost six hectares between Wiesentfelser and Pretzfelder Straße there is a newly designed green zone that connects the existing Neuaubing district with the new Freiham district and serves as a place for recreation and communication. The planning is based on citizen participation with school children, young people and adults from the neighboring residential areas.
The new green belt is an important meeting area for all residents of all ages: with a streetball court, a hill with a climbing landscape and various slides as well as a partner swing, the new green belt offers an important meeting area for all residents of all ages. In the middle there is a designated area for “urban gardening”. Here, residents can grow and harvest their own vegetables and fruit.
