Max-Josef-Geräumt

The Max-Josef-Geräumt is a paved path in the Forstenrieder Park and a fantastic Radl track.

Most of the time he is moving from the Maxhof district to Leutstetten. Make popular cycling routes pace. But beware of families, seniors and children. The route itself offers little variety - but if you look a little to the right and left of the path, you can always discover small peculiarities.

In Forstenrieder Park there is an approx. 6 km long dead straight section of the tarred forest path "Max-Josef-Geräum". This has an even gradient to the northeast of approx. 1%, which is hardly noticeable directly, but makes the return journey to Munich somehow more pleasant. However, the gradient is sufficient for a bike with good freewheeling or without gear shifting to just about compensate for the rolling resistance and the bike keeps the speed without further pedaling.
