Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher, a basilica built by Alessio Tramello between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The facade has buttresses and a portal in Baroque style. Inside, the painter Antonio Beduschi painted a martyrdom of Saint Stephen and a Pietà. The name may be derived from a pilgrim from Piacenza who, returning from a visit to the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, had a house of worship built in 938 which was subsequently destroyed. During the Napoleonic era it was converted into a military hospital and only in 1903 was it rededicated to prayer.
