City Theater: Designed by the architect Lotario Tomba to replace the Cittadella theater, which was destroyed after a fire in 1798 and inaugurated in 1804, it has a facade inspired by that of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan; the interior was decorated by Alessandro Sanquirico, scenographer of the Milan theater. Above the main hall is the former set design room, which was converted into a 320-seat auditorium in the 1970s.
