The wayside cross is a three-part cross, a double stone base made of basalt stone and a wooden cross with a metal body. The 3.70 m high cross is protected by a small gable roof and a copper cover. According to written records, wayside crosses stood at this location as early as 1376 and 1752. The current cross suffered severe damage in World War II. The neighborhood took care of the repairs. In 1970, the cross was moved a few meters due to road construction work and surrounded by a new structure. The cross bears the following inscription:

Dedicated by the neighborhood and friends in 1850.
