On the Lärchenbergweg, the cross suddenly appears, almost inconspicuously. The large wooden cross was erected in 1932 by the then mountain club. In 1999 and 2013 the cross had to be renewed. The last consecration took place after the renewal in 2013. Originally, the cross was free-standing and a beautiful view of the parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was possible. Unfortunately, the aisle is a bit overgrown today.
