At the end of the 18th century, the counts of Liedekerke-Beaufort built a convent to welcome a community of nuns who disappeared in 1973.
Purchased by the municipality, the building is temporarily used as a primary school and kindergarten.
The chapel and the cellars have been converted into a tourist reception centre.
