Nicht mehr der Jüngste aber noch immer gern und viel unterwegs, überwiegend mit dem (Touren-) Rad. Seit April mit MTB - erstanden für den "Heimaturlaub 2020". Gar nicht so unübel hier 😃
A wonderful day.In Kissing in the morning, around 8.45 a.m., still a bit foggy and a ... cold. Kaufbeuren received me with brilliant sunshine. This lasted until noon - with the first raindrops I reached the train station in Kaufbeuren again. From the train station, first on the former Kaufbeuren-Schongau railway line, the Sachsenrieder Bähnle, to Ingenried. Beautiful.
On to Lechbruck. There then on the former Lechbruck-Markoberdorf railway line to MOD and on to Kaufbeuren.I liked the first part, up to Lechbruck, very much. Maybe it's because the sun was shining 😊The cycle path between Lechbruck and MOD often leads along the main road. But with a slight slope - good for the cut 😃
MOD - Kaufbeuren, street or accompanying cycle path. The route is very well signposted and mostly car-free (up to MOD). Be careful when crossing the streets.

From Pasing to KissingLast week I cycled from Kissing to Pasing (see "Track Cycling"). I had a feeling of tightness. Quite the opposite today. The view widens especially behind FFB.The official starting point of the Munich-Augsburg cycle path is probably at the Deutsches Museum. From there the route leads westwards via Nymphenburg Palace to the city.I started the cycle path at the Pasing train station. The route is very well signposted. Quite urban to FFB, yet quiet, away from traffic, route guidance. At the junction to Hattenhofen I left the suggested route and drove through Haspelmoor via Nassenhausen. The signposted path leads from Hattenhofen to Althegnenberg along the railway (I already had it last week when "Bahnradeln").Between Merching and Mandicho Lake, I turned to Kissing. The official route continues over Mandichosee and through the Haunstetter or Siebentischwald into Augsburg. I find the piece more appealing through the Kissinger Heide. All in all a wonderful autumn day.

... or: enjoy the midday sun.The Bavarian Hiasl was a robber captain from Kissing, 18th century. It can go that fast, less than 300 years and a "family-friendly" cycle path is named after him (from: "Radwandern in Bayerisch-Schwaben").By the way, not to be confused with "Räuber Kneißl". The "Bavarian Hiasl" was a Kissinger.

From the Isar to the Lech (almost).Freising - Allershausen - Hohenkammer - Petershausen - Markt Indersdorf - Altomünster - Friedberg - Kissing.A foggy business today. Freising and the Weltwald are worth a trip of their own. There is an excellent kebab in Petershausen. 😊After Altomünster I mistook the Sonnenweg for the Oxen. My goodness, Odelzhausen - Adelzhausen, I always leave the autobahn in Odelzhausen. 😃The way was still nice (foggy). The sun flashed out briefly when there was a Sixnite. Shortly before the end it was even visible. Then I found the end of the path again.

At 10 o'clock we had the Ammer Gorge to ourselves. In the afternoon, on the way back in bright sunshine, it was like at the Kuhsee. The circular route to Schnalz was relatively easy, a bit muddy, with "climbing" inserts, but anything but boring. The Schnalz is "only" 903 m high, but it offers a magnificent view (almost) of Lake Constance and Berchtesgaden. From the lookout point above the Ammer Gorge down there were 1234 steps, if I didn't miscount 😂 at least a steep descent, which is probably not entirely harmless when wet.

Animated by Lucody, I have implemented a long-cherished project: along the railroad tracks from Kissing to Pasing. Conclusion: Project implemented 😄 I think it would have been nicer the other way around, because of the light and the wide view.Small detour to the Aubinger Lohe, over the Teufelsberg (the Teufelsberg Cross is canceled again this year). To the Kissinger railway pits:

Today is a Monday.Actually, I wanted to go to Freising and from there back to Friedberg on the Old Bavarian Oxenweg. The train slowed me down in Munich Hbf. No train in the direction of Freising. I didn't want to take the S-Bahn.I didn't have a plan B. But remembering that my favorite follower 😉 cycled the Würm a few weeks ago. So, off to the next train and back to Pasing. It is nice to cycle along the Würm through the Pasing city forest. The Graefelfing-Planegg-Krailling-Stockdorf-Gauting section is not that tingling (city stop). But the journey through the wild and romantic Mühltal to Lake Starnberg compensates for this. After it looked more like rain, back by train, Starnberg-Pasing-Kissing.Monday, emergency doctor on the train. Thanks. Fortunately, the train went through to Mering. The ambulance is already there.
