A comprehensive protection concept has been in place on the Lombachalp since 2007: the visitor information and guidance concept. The municipality of Habkern is responsible for this concept. To do this, she appointed the Lombachalp Commission, which developed the protection concept with the help of various parties and monitors its functioning. The executive bodies are the rangers, who take on classic ranger tasks such as information and guidance, supervision, environmental education and practical activities.

Tickets for parking in the Lombach area (Zone 1 and Zone 2) are available at machines in Habkern and at Lombacham. On nice weekends, the parking spaces fill up quickly, so arrive early or, better yet, take the shuttle bus from Habkern. Then you can also go on a long hike (e.g. to Kemmeriboden or Sörenberg) and no longer have to return to Lombachalm.
