The watermill in Cobbenrode is a grain mill whose origins date back to the 17th/18th century. After the mill and its surrounding facilities were restored and the millpond was re-established with a water supply, the function of water power can now be demonstrated authentically. Furthermore, the well-preserved milling technology allows visitors to grind grain just as it was done in grandfather's day. In a small museum room, you can closely examine the tools that the miller used to practice his craft.
