This monument at the mouth of the Western Scheldt depicts the Greek letter Delta, symbol of the battle between land and sea. The island of Cadzand has been flooded several times over the centuries. in memory of these storm surges, Recron Zeeuws Vlaanderen has decided to offer this symbol. both to the local population and to the holiday maker.
