Tips
Since 2019, the six-kilometer-long and four-meter-wide cycling, jogging and hiking path on the new dike of the "Zwin" nature reserve has connected Cadzand-Bad and Knokke-Heist across the border. After three years of construction work, visitors can now fully enjoy the unique 333-hectare tidal area by detouring. From four vantage points, walkers, hikers, joggers and cyclists have a beautiful overview of the new - wider, deeper and longer - "Zwingeul", the new bird breeding islands and the polder landscape.
The four rest areas on the dike dam are equipped with bicycle racks and benches; information boards give visitors information about the Zwin area.translated by
