The Keuneleute (for those who do not understand West Flemish: "Rabbit pleasure") is a small but beautiful forest, which is managed in such a way that it retains its 'natural' condition as best as possible.
The author Willy Spillebeen (°1932), born in Westrozebeke, spent his youth in the nearby farm. This forest appears several times in his books as a background to his stories, such as in "The fox hunt, a book of the dead" (1977).
