Around 12,000 soldiers are buried here. The impressive Tyne Cot Memorial lists a further 35,000 names of soldiers whose grave is unknown and who died after August 15, 1917.
From the visitor center you have a unique view of the ancient battlefields and can hear and see the moving history of Tyne Cot Cemetery and the dead of Passchendaele.
