The tall, slightly stepped choir tower with two floors set back was built in 1498 with a slender pointed helmet and four different corner towers. A ribbed vault rests on consoles in the sanctuary. The wall paintings date from around 1500. The nave, a large hall, was built by Johann Nikolaus Koch from 1762 to 1763. A coat of arms of the Riedesel family is attached above the west portal.
The building was extensively renovated in 1963.
