Beautiful church in the heart of Würzburg.
The Neubaukirche was built between 1583 and 1591 as a university church and burial church by Prince-Bishop Julius Echter von Mespelbrunn and today serves as a festival hall for the Julius Maximilian University. Since 2005, a carillon with 51 bells has been housed in its tower, which is played regularly. The tower of the Neubaukirche is also the highest church tower in Würzburg at 79.57 meters.
