The tour is moderately challenging, leading from Gießenbach through the wildly romantic Gießenbach Gorge and the valley of the same name up to the beautifully situated Oberbrunnalm (1523 m) below the Kreidenkopf (1695 m) and Zäunlkopf (1746 m). While the gradient is generally manageable, there are few flat sections along the entire route up to the alpine pasture. Both uphill and downhill, cyclists must be on their guard, as the route is quite rocky in places, with large and small rocks.
