The National Cycle Network Route 7 (NCN 7) runs through the heart of the National Park, and takes in classic Trossachs scenery en route. The route includes the villages like, Balloch, Drymen, Aberfoyle, Callander, Strathyre, Lochearnhead and Killin and allows excellent safe and predominantly off-road cycling.

This road has one of those never ending ascents. It's about 3 miles (5 km) with gradients of between 5% and 12%. Easy with no panniers, but quite taxing if fully laden.
