One of the four ports of Bouin with the port of Bec, the port of Champs and the port of Louippe. All of them are closely linked to fishing and oyster farming activities.
This port was created in the second part of the 19th century, on the Etier des Brochets, with the construction of its lock bridge, which allows water regulation.
