Hiking
The current bridge was put into operation in 2002 and is a two-leaf bascule bridge. The opening of the bridge, when sailboats and other ships pass through the Schlei, is particularly worth seeing. It is part of the important transport link along the Schlei and shapes the cityscape of Kappeln.
