Social meeting place
The Hofgarten Kempten is located north of the residence and is a baroque palace garden. Once laid out as a kitchen garden to supply the monastery, the Hofgarten is now a popular meeting place and idyllic place to relax in the heart of the city.
Due to its central location in the city center, the Hofgarten is an ideal meeting place for locals and a place to relax for guests. Only a few meters away from the pedestrian zone, you can enjoy a break in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle. Families have picnics, friends meet for sundowners, students to study and social media affine for a selfie in a perfect setting. In summer, the Kemptener Hofgarten with its large lawns is also popular for sporting activities.
