In the shadow of the church, the hiker can settle down for a rest and conversation with God or nature. A bank is available but also the water connection and watering cans for the small cemetery. Here the canteen can be filled up and the dog showered in hot weather. With dignified and friendly appearance, possibly a reference to Francis of Assisi, no one takes a short dog visit (of course on a leash) in the cemetery evil. The pastor would like to establish the Trebitzer church, which is located directly on the European cycle path R1, as a cyclist church. For a recognition but still missing the toilets. In the landmarked church nothing sanitary may be installed.Cyclists are now looking for an alternative, for their natural needs.

The neo-Gothic hall church was built in 1896/98 in the lower part of field stones and in the upper part of bricks after the old church burned down on July 22, 1894. A transverse rectangular roof tower rises from the gable roof of the nave in the west, on which sits a top made of slate-clad timber framing, which is covered transversely with a high hipped roof.
The interior is spanned by a wooden barrel vault. The wooden church furnishings from the time of construction are influenced by Art Nouveau. The pulpit was created in 1898 by Gustav Kuntzsch. The organ on the gallery was built in 1898 by Alexander Schuke Potsdam Orgelbau. (Source: Wikipedia)
