Cozy log cabin in the Bündner Herrschaft, above the Rhine valley near Maienfeld, in the western part of the Rätikon. The cozy summer mountain hiking hut is located slightly below the tree line, on the way to the Falknis or over the Fläscher Fürggli and via the Schesaplana hut to the Carschina hut. Remarkable panoramic view of the Pizol area, on the right past the Calanda to the Rheinwaldhorn, and in the area of Chur and Lenzerheide. The first section follows a wide cart path from St. Luzisteig. Follow the signs to the Enderlinhütte. After two stream crossings, the path tapers to a single-lane trail that quickly and steeply zigzags around the Tristelstein, mostly in tree shade or through mountain pine fields. After about 2 hours you reach the Enderlinhütte, where you can take a short break. The second section is now an alpine climb that initially swings under the many rock towers. The challenging part of the hike is the crossing under these towers to the east. Many passages are secured with wire ropes, but surefootedness is required here. After you have overcome these many small cliffs, streams and corners, you can see the steep grass slope that leads us to the Fürggli area. From Fürggli you can still not see the top of the Falknis (2,565 m), but in the picturesque Fläscher valley.Hike from St. Luzisteig to the Falknis with a stop in the Enderlinhütte:
You turn north and still gain altitude, circle numerous small and insignificant elevations until the summit cross of the Falknis suddenly appears for the first time. After another quarter of an hour you have reached the last Steinmann and are standing under the small summit, which is conquered in a few minutes.
