There is an official bike route around the reservoirs. And unofficial trails in the wooded areas but you will come across people walking on them so very hard to get any speed has you can not see what's around the corner

Always worth doing a tour of the reservoirs (not the top one though, that is off piste) while venturing either up to Froggatt or doing the full classic Linacre Circle.
