It's really hard not to fall in love with the beauty of Saas-Fee. The strong tradition of the Alpine villages of the past mixes with contemporary architecture, making this place one of a kind. Saas-Fee is considered the "Pearl of the Alps" and is located at the foot of the majestic Dom, 4,545 meters high.

Our second visit to Saas Fee after almost 7 years. The atmosphere without "traffic" is something, but at least it can be implemented relatively well at the end of the valley because there is no through traffic. The place itself has a lot to offer, with the old farm buildings near the parking garage. Like almost every well-known place in the Alps, Saas Fee also has various mountain railways and therefore plenty of excursion destinations to offer in summer and winter. But it should be really lively in the winter - we were there both times in the summer and it was pretty quiet, almost a little dead.
