Eisenbach Castle, named after the stream that flows through the castle park, sits enthroned on a basalt rock. Today the castle is privately owned. The palace complex and the palace courtyard, also known as the outer bailey, are freely accessible. The castle park was laid out as a mountain park and has a rich tree population.
