Attention: if you cycle through the Neandertal (Neandertalmuseum to Gruiten-Dorf), you will almost exclusively cycle on a well-developed hiking trail. This is nothing for a road bike. With touring bike, MTB or gravel bike ok. Please note that many hike there, especially on weekends, and are rather annoyed by cyclists. However, cycling is not prohibited. Try to avoid weekends and holidays as much as possible.
