The first buildings on the left side of the path already belong to Giesenstein Castle, which you only discover when you are almost past it. To do this, you pass the building complex and then it is advisable to look back again. The castle is still a very beautiful building today, but unfortunately it has been unused for a few years (at least the main building). On information board no. 7 (Hammergut Giesenstein) there is a photo on the top right that shows the building in a decorated state.
