A stroll through the Wiesn alone is well worth seeing. Incidentally, the name Wiesn is the short form of the Theresienwiese, where the Munich Oktoberfest takes place.

The Theresienwiese in Munich is a fairground in the district of Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt. The Oktoberfest, which is considered the largest folk festival in the world, has taken place on the square every year since 1810.
