Tips
The Riemeisterfenn, a former lake that silted up when the Beelitzhof waterworks was put into operation, gave the ditch its name. As the waterworks' work had caused the groundwater level to drop, the Fenngraben was created in 1952 to supply the lakes with fresh water from the Havel.
