Graerup Strand is a continuation of the running track from Vejers Strand to the south or Börsmose Strand to the north. The town of Graerup was demolished in the 1960s and made available to the military and is now part of the largest military training area in Denmark.

Graerup Strand is a 20 kilometer long car-free beach between Verjers and Henne and a child-friendly beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag in recent years.

The tranquil village Grærup is located northeast of Vejers a few kilometers into the West Jutland hinterland and is just the right place for those who are looking for peace and relaxation in their holiday. Here there is a wonderfully curved dunes on many hiking and biking trails to explore, the cottages are gently embedded here and there between the dunes and the kilometer-long and child-friendly beach of the place is car-free. Take a leisurely stroll through the sand on foot, splash in the gently sloping water and enjoy a beautiful sunset without engine noise? This is easily possible in Grærup! But if you prefer to travel by car to transport the beach luggage, we recommend a short drive to the beautiful Børsmose beach. There is also a camping with a snack.
For everyday goods is located in the village a mini market, more shopping there are, for example, only about 9 km away Vejers. Anyone who likes to throw out the fishing rod to bring fresh fish to the table, will also feel good in Grærup. Because here there is a great fishing lake, the one with some Petri Heil delicious finned animals on the hook.
