    Hiking

The grounds of the park belong since 1842 to the city of Frankfurt am Main. In the past, the Seehofpark experienced a changeful history in the past, thanks to a spring made in 1857. From the beginning, fish ponds are known. Later, a manor was built there, and in 1859 a waterworks was put into operation. The water was used by breweries, nurseries and the municipal slaughterhouse. Today the water of the source is used as service water for the Deutschherrnviertel. In 1911, the site was established as a public park and opened to the public.

The friendly kiosk on the edge of the Seehofpark in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen offers cold drinks, ice cream, cappuccino and tea and homemade cakes - and a sunny terrace and recently a secluded garden. Folding chairs can be hired for the park.

Inconspicuous little but fine green oasis in the city.
