Houwaartse Wine Bench

On the Houschijne mountain you have a beautiful view of the surroundings from the huge wine bank. The 'resting bench' is 6 meters long and 2.5 m high. A staircase to get to it is therefore useful.

The Hounauwe Wijnbank is an initiative of Hounauwe Wijngaard VZW. One of the members got the idea for a giant sofa during a walk among the vineyards in the Moselle region. In 2021, two years after the idea, the permit was obtained and the file was financed. The bank was a fact in June 2022. It is located next to the oldest vineyard (of the late Jos Daems) on the Houwaarde Berg. A little extra height, to take a look at the valley. In the meantime, the bank has been given a staircase. This makes the seat accessible from a great height
