"Woman and Bird" is a free sculpture by Joan Miró that rises 22 meters above the artificial pond in Joan Miró Park in Barcelona. Built between 1981 and 1982, although it was inaugurated the following year, the work is made of artificial stone partially covered with red, yellow, green and blue painted ceramics, treated as brittle, made by ceramicist Joan Gardy Artigas. The sculpture was Joan Miró's last public work.
