A little further down is a hut. Great panoramic view up here. If you want to climb the ridge, you should have a head for heights. Some of the waypoints are very narrow and it goes down steeply.

  • Stunning tour! You can also start the tour at the Herzogstand. So you have the advantage that you go up the hm with the cable car.
As the extreme downhill but then looks for the joints is something else again ... ;-)

  • From the summit point of Heimgarten you can see the entire Munich foothills of the Alps from Starnberger See, Riegsee, Kochelsee and Walchensee in good weather. In the background, majestic and snowy the Alps rise in all their splendor.
This is what characterizes a rest area with an experience.

Otherwise you can torture yourself like me from 1,300 m with the bike on your back!

  • From the home garden you have a super nice view. It is only a few meters to the hut. There you can stop off and enjoy the view with a beer and a snack.
