Exactly 100 years ago, the first residents moved into the workers' houses on the Pallenbergstraße, donated by the furniture manufacturer Jakob Pallenberg. The company, based on the Old Bank, thus created apartments for needy and old employees who had earned special merit as craftsmen in the furniture factory.
Bay and turrets were built here with half-timbering and show a very special style.
